Design of a tool-based service-oriented transfer of data center services

PROCEDURE/OUTPUT

  • Development of internal cost allocation based on the 50 key IT platforms of the group
  • Implementation of new billing structures in SAS Valuemation and SAP, training of about 70 IT platform managers to improve the economic control of the DC operation
  • Development of a portal for centralizing billing information and providing a consolidated reporting to the efficiency of data center operations and the individual IT-platforms
  • Adaptation of the central data center and support processes to the new billing model
  • Support of organizational change to improve cost awareness in data center operation
